Meet Carrie

Carrie Murray is a trailblazing entrepreneur, superconnector, and fierce advocate for women who refuse to be ignored. She is the founder of BRA – Business Relationship Alliance – a dynamic network devoted to advancing female-owned businesses through community, collaboration, mentorship, and support. Carrie is also the creator and host of Carrie On, a bold new web series amplifying the stories of marginalized creatives, coaches, and changemakers rewriting the rules of entrepreneurship and identity.

The first in her family to graduate from college, Carrie earned a B.A. in Social Work from San Francisco State University with a focus on domestic violence, followed by a Master’s in Social Justice from Antioch University. She began her career as a court advocate for survivors navigating the justice system, then transitioned into education—eventually becoming a Principal within the LAUSD public charter system.

In 2011, Carrie made the leap to entrepreneurship by founding Prestique Academy, a school designed for twice-exceptional students. Though passionate about education, she quickly discovered the steep learning curve of business ownership. While raising two young children, she dove headfirst into studying finance, marketing, and operations—learning everything she could about building a sustainable business.

It was during this time that she connected with a group of fellow "mompreneurs" who, like her, were navigating business ownership without a roadmap. What began as dinner parties turned into a movement—gatherings of women seeking guidance, support, and real connection. From those early conversations, the BRA Network was born.

Today, Carrie continues to champion underrepresented voices and help women turn their expertise into thriving businesses. Through BRA and Carrie On, she is building a more inclusive and supportive ecosystem where bold women get loud, get real, and get seen.
